I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip-
He who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, He who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you-
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm-
He will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Psalm 121

We had such a great time yesterday taking a day trip to the mountains. Watching my family enjoy each other, the wonders of God's creation, and the beauty of the season brings such a joy to me.

Watching my husband with his children reminded me of God's great love for His children.

How he will take our hand and lead us. He is our protector and our comforter. When we stay focused on Him and His guidance, we will not fall.

We can walk with confidence, knowing we have nothing to fear because our Daddy has us in His hands.

I thank the Lord for my family and for His example of how to love and care for our children, for our husbands and for others.

I love your insights and pictures with this post!

Also, so excited to see you like Keith Green! He's my favorite! And I think we even own all the same books...even the cost of discipleship by bonheoffer (sp?). I still need to finish it, but don't know many that own it!

Okay, thats enough babbling for now...you have a beautiful family :)

I can not believe your kids are that big. It is crazy. Layla was younger than Jude when I first met you guys. Soooo weird!

Miss Jocelyn, thank you.

Meghann, I know, I saw you liked Keith Green, too. He is my absolute favorite! Cost of Discipleship is such a good book. It's a difficult read, but well worth it.

Shannon, crazy, isn't it? She was younger than Jude, only like 3 mos. Wow. Time goes by so fast. Our seven year anniversary is in less than a month!
